An Under Counter RO System is a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration system that is installed under the kitchen counter. It removes contaminants, such as salts, larger particles, and various dissolved inorganic compounds like nitrates, sodium, chloride, and fluoride, from the water supply. The filtered water is typically supplied via a separate dedicated faucet for drinking and cooking purposes. There are various under counter RO systems available, catering to different needs, and they are known for their high filtration efficiency and compact design. Some under counter RO systems incorporate a pump, while others do not, depending on the available water supply pressure. These systems are well-regarded for their capacity to remove up to 99.8% of minerals from the water, though a few essential minerals may be eliminated in the process.
